Payment and Rates:  Clients are required to pay the session rate at the end of each session.  For the client's convenience, they can pay using a credit card or their HSA or FSA cards. Please call or schedule time with Jami to learn more about session rates.

Cancellation Policy:  The practice has a  24-hour cancellation policy.  Clients will be automatically charged the full session fee if a session is canceled, missed, or rescheduled, without the full 24-hour advanced notice.  For clients with appointments on Mondays, cancellations must be received no later than noon on the previous Friday.

Good Faith Estimate:  You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.  Providers are required to give clients who do not have insurance, or who are not using their insurance for treatment, an estimate of the bill for items and services.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Insurance:  The practice does not accept insurance.  Upon request, the practice provides clients a "super bill" that they can submit to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement.  Individuals who prefer an in-network provider are encouraged to reach out directly to their health insurance provider.

The practice takes confidentiality very seriously.  The practice has a legal and ethical obligation to safeguard all of the information discussed during the session.  Exceptions to confidentiality include: if the client affirmatively releases information (in writing) or when issues come up in session that Jami is legally required to disclose  including suspected child, dependent or elder abuse, or to ensure the client's safety.  As part of the onboarding process, new clients will receive the practice's formal confidentiality policy.
